The Business Connection Committee is involved with the Chamber events, including ribbon cuttings and the New Member Social. Our goal is to make everyone feel welcome in the Chamber, especially the new members. Many new members have never been a part of a Chamber and feel like they don’t know anyone. We want to make them feel welcome. We want to assist them with anything they may need in the chamber but might be apprehensive to ask. We want new members to have a wonderful first impression when they come to events.
 
We have already had great success with the program. We’ve been able to reach out to our new members, we’ve been able to meet them, connect them to other committees and connect them to each other for business. The amount of feedback we have gotten has been all positive and in the end, our vision is to make the chamber the best it can be.
